Review: The Handmaid’s Tale

The Handmaid's Tale
The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Oh, my goodness, this book! The writing, the storytelling, the images are gorgeous and compelling. The story itself, horrifying. Told with such poetry and realistic detail that it is completely believable. As mesmerizing today as it was in the 1990s.

Sometimes, I give so many books a low rating that I begin to think I don’t actually like reading. Then, there’s an author like Atwood and I am moved to my toe tips.
